The applications showcased here include the winners of contests and challenges from groups around the world. They shine because they convert datasets to information that is more accessible to the public, thus making it easier for them to use that data in making decisions. From the best town to find a job to seeing the environmental health of your community, these applications, mashups, and visualizations bring a variety of government data to your computer or phone.
